You ...Topping it with grapefruit sugar for the win. You do know I'm addicted to your muffins right? Wait, I'm supposed to be focusing on eggs and cabbage and the Breakfast Salad. See, this is the problem with reading these all at once. I want them all now, and since it's 8:20 on a Friday night, I won't be making anything more for the day. I might peel a Clementine and pour another glass of wine, but that's about all I've got left for the day. Tomorrow though, so many possibilities. Muffins, Salads, Breakfast Salads, Enchiladas, Layer Bars....at least I'll have pleasant dreams tonight. Tequila, though, that's an option to explore . . .

There are no dumb questions, and your comment came to my phone right before I hit the commissary so I read labels while I was there. Wheat germ is "the heart of the wheat berry" according to one brand, and is more golden in color and less 'flaky' than wheat bran, which is 'the outer coating of the wheat seed' according to another brand. For my purposes, I keep my open jar of wheat germ in the fridge and my open box of wheat bran in the pantry.Kirstenhttp://www.farmfreshfeasts.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4689405125611757524.post-73139435310685279272014-02-04T17:57:51.769-08:002014-02-04T17:57:51.769-08:00Sarah,

You will never see me eating grapefruit sections outright, nor will I ever just drink its juice straight from the carton. (You mix a little tequila with said grapefruit juice, we might have a different conversation. :)). But I would totally try your muffins, they just look so enticing!
